We specialise in importing various types of steel products that are not usually able to be manufactured by New Zealand based steel mills.
We focus on annually visiting and thoroughly inspecting the overseas-based steel mills. This enables us to better understand new technological developments and supply these improved products to our clients, supporting our clients as innovative market leaders.
Our strong global connections and networks give the New Zealand construction and manufacturing industry the ability to compete on an international scale. We import from only the most reputable, experienced and some of the largest producing exporting mills in the world, with some mills producing annually 40 times more than all New Zealand based steel mills combined.

All the steel used in our custom welded beams, wide-width plate, wire and structural steel products are sourced from mills holding Australian Certification Authority for Reinforcing and Structural Steels Ltd (ACRS) certification at the time of supply of those particular products.

HOT-DIP ALLOY COATED STEEL (55% Al, 43.4% Zinc, 1.6% Silicon).
TIGERALZINC has excellent corrosion resistance with the barrier protection of aluminium and the sacrificial corrosion protection effect of zinc, making it suitable for commercial, residential and light industrial construction use.
HOT-DIP ALLOY COATED STEEL IN COILS & SHEETS (95% Zinc, 5% Aluminium/Mischmetal - LA & CE Rare Earth Elements/Magnesium).
GALPHA is 3 to 7 times more corrosion resistant than zinc coatings of the same thickness, making the service life of a steel part significantly longer.
CUSTOM WELDED STEEL BEAMS.
EXACTABEAMS cover all custom manufactured structural products supplied through Tiger Steel. Using steel plate produced from plate to the AS/NZS3678 standards, this product provides clients with the flexibility to specify almost any size required. Designers can, therefore, save weight and overall cost as we can fabricate members to the exact size needed.
